“You’re just on your period”: Caleb Williams’ hamstring injury sparks meme fest with “I chipped my nail polish” joke

And now, a fabricated video of his Week 2 hamstring injury is circulating online.In the AI-generated clip, Williams falls to the ground with the football still in his hand and starts crying inconsolably.As the team’s medical staff members gather around him, he holds up his colorfully painted nails and says, “I chipped my nail polish.” One medical staff member hands him a menstrual pad, saying, “I think you’re just on your period, you little b*tch.” Then the member puts the pad over his painted nails.The other medical staff members burst into laughter as Williams stares in shock at his injured hand. Another member lets out, “F*ck this guy,” in reaction. But here we are!Hater Report shared Williams’ 27-second AI video on X with the caption: “THIS is the content I come to this app for lmaoo. I’M CRYING [two uncontrollably laughing emojis].” A user quickly commented, “I get he put on a corny show for just pulling a hammy, but this is just unfunny.”BrickCenter shared a 24-second video of the Chicago Bears quarterback, showcasing a compilation of his reactions to a hamstring injury. He tried to get up after falling but couldn’t, so he rolled onto the floor and lay there on his back.Later, as they carted him off the field, he covered his face with a towel. But he eventually removed it and gave the crowd a thumbs-up.BrickCenter captioned the video: “Caleb Williams did ALL THIS for a minor hamstring injury.”How painful is a minor hamstring injury?According to PlayerScout, a Grade 1 hamstring injury causes mild pain.
