5-star Georgia RB commit Kemon Spell scores 3 long touchdowns

The Georgia Bulldogs have a commitment from five-star running back recruit Kemon Spell , who is having an outstanding senior season. Spell and McKeesport High School in McKeesport, Pennsylvania, lost 40-33 in their most recent game against Thomas Jefferson.

The 5-foot-9, 205-pound running back recorded 231 rushing yards on just nine carries. Spell scored three touchdowns in the loss to Thomas Jefferson. Spell's touchdowns were all long runs. He scored 31, 69 and 96 yard rushing touchdowns in the win. The UGA commit did have a fumble.

Spell showed his explosiveness and ability to hit on big plays. He's generating a lot of buzz from his senior season. Spell is the No. 1 running back and No. 6 recruit in the nation. Spell is the No. 2 recruit in Pennsylvania.

"I picked Georgia for the reasons that I want to get to the NFL and I'll be coached by the best guy (Georgia coach Kirby Smart) each and every day," Spell said in an interview with Pittsburgh Post-Gazette earlier this year.

Despite Spell's commitment, Georgia will have to hold off other top college football programs, like the Miami Hurricanes , to sign Spell this December.
