Titans hold tryout for former Vol ahead of Week 1 game against Jets
Former Vol trys out with the Titans ahead of Week 1.
Tennessee will open its 2026 NFL regular season against the Jets on Sept. 13. The Week 1 contest will kick off at 1 p.m. EDT at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee.
The Titans held tryouts for seven players on Friday, according to NFL transactions. Defensive end Dominic Bailey (Tennessee), linebacker Jimmy Ciarlo (Army), linebacker Nick Jackson ( Iowa ), linebacker Emany Johnson (Nevada), linebacker T.J. Quinn (Louisville), defensive tackle J.R. Singleton (Iowa State) and defensive tackle Zion Wilson (East Carolina) worked out with Tennessee.
Bailey played for the Vols from 2020-25. He appeared in 55 games, including 25 starts.
Bailey recorded 77 tackles, 12.5 tackles for a loss, eight sacks, one pass deflection, two forced fumbles and three fumble recoveries during his collegiate career with the Vols.
He went to Tennessee from St. Frances Academy in Baltimore, Maryland. Bailey committed to the Vols over Clemson and Penn State .
