The first five weeks of the 2026 NFL season are effectively finished.

How have the fantasy football gods treated you so far?

Ideally, you're managing a juggernaut. Your start and sit decisions are the kind where there are no wrong answers. You're going into matchups wondering how wide your margin of victory will be this time around.

For most of you, though, that is not the case. Maybe it's nowhere close. Considering the damage done by the injury bug, and the bye-week absences, you might be struggling to just put a functional lineup together.

Either way, we're here to help with early Week 6 rankings and waiver-wire targets at the three marquee positions.

Waiver-wire target: Jordan Love, GB (vs. DAL)

Love's passing yardage has lacked consistency, but his good games have been pretty awesome. So far, he has either thrown for less than 200 yards (twice) or more than 300 (three times). This volatility is impossible to trust on a weekly basis, but his arrow should be pointing all the way up against a Cowboys defense allowing the second-most fantasy points to the position, per Yahoo Sports.

Projected stats: 26-of-34 passing for 287 yards, three touchdowns

Waiver-wire target: Marshawn Lloyd, GB (vs. DAL)

Things haven't quite fully quicked for Lloyd just yet, but he is getting the kind of opportunities that suggest it's only a matter of time. He's already tallied double-digit carries in two games, and he saw five targets in another. He produced a two-touchdown effort on Sunday, and his good times could keep rolling with back-to-back juicy matchups against Dallas and Detroit.

Projected stats: 11 carries for 42 yards, three receptions for 15 yards, one touchdown

Waiver-wire target: Germie Bernard, PIT (at TB)

Pittsburgh's passing offense is trending up, and if Sunday's game was any indication, it might be taking Bernard's fantasy stock with it. The rookie second-rounder set career-highs in receptions (six), targets (nine) and receiving yards (80). With Michael Pittman Jr. on injured reserve, and Roman Wilson facing a possible multi-week absence , Bernard's involvement feels unlikely to backtrack.

Projected stats: Five receptions for 77 yards, one touchdown
