Titans LB Cedric Gray Placed in Concussion Protocol After UTV Accident Ahead of Week 1 vs. Jets

The Tennessee Titans announced that linebacker Cedric Gray is in the concussion protocol ahead of a Week 1 matchup with the New York Jets after he "sustained a concussion and minor injuries" in a UTV accident, per ESPN's Turron Davenport .

The team said Gray, who was driving, wasn't doing so recklessly and alcohol was not involved.

"We look forward to Cedric returning to the field soon and in full health when he clears the NFL's concussion protocol," the Titans noted in the statement.
