Seahawks fan chat: Who do you want to see lose more, the Rams or 49ers?

The Seattle Seahawks started their 2026 season with a comeback win over the New England Patriots , ensuring that they'll be ahead of at least one of the San Francisco 49ers or Los Angeles Rams by the end of Week 1. Seattle and New England had to play on Wednesday to accommodate the Niners and Rams debuting regular season NFL in Australia. What is technically a Thursday night game in the United States is a Friday morning kickoff in Melbourne, and we'll soon find out if staying in Australia for a week is a better strategy than flying in about as late as reasonably possible like the Rams did.

While unfortunately both of these teams cannot start the season 0-1, we'll either see one of them at 0-1 by the end of tonight or 0-0-1 in the unlikely event of a tie. Consider that the 49ers play the Miami Dolphins and Arizona Cardinals the next two weeks and they could start the season 3-0, two weeks out before they face the Seahawks. Meanwhile, the Rams still have the Denver Broncos , Philadelphia Eagles , and Buffalo Bills to come over the next few weeks, so it's not like they have an easy schedule. It's a division game, so the tiebreakers will be very important for Seahawks fans to watch.

The 49ers are as healthy as can be as far as their star players, while the Rams have everyone except Aaron Donald all good to go.
