Because he remains under supervision, traveling outside Texas requires court approval and comes with specific conditions.Mahomes Sr. has already received permission for out-of-state travel this year. In June, he was allowed to visit Missouri to support his granddaughter Sterling, Patrick Mahomes’ five-year-old daughter, during her first dance recital.The conditions attached to that trip included reporting to his probation officer before leaving and completing a urinalysis test. Similar requirements could apply to his latest request. His ankle monitor reportedly recorded a TAC level of 0.045% on January 1, leading to another arrest. However, a hair follicle test reportedly came back clean, and the court declined to revoke his probation.
