Marvin Harrison Jr. is ready to get to work for the Houston Texans.

"What's up H-Town," the wide receiver said in a video posted Monday. "It's Marvin Harrison Jr. here. I'm super excited to get to work and be a part of a great organization."

The video comes after the Arizona Cardinals traded Harrison and a 2027 sixth-round draft pick to the Texans in exchange for a second- and seventh-rounder in the 2027 draft.

This could be a much-needed change of scenery for Harrison.

After all, he was the Big Ten Offensive Player of the Year and a two-time All-American during his collegiate career at Ohio State. The son of Hall of Famer Marvin Harrison seemed like a lock to be a productive NFL player, and the Cardinals responded by selecting him with the No. 4 overall pick of the 2024 draft.

He flashed his overall potential as a rookie with 62 catches for 885 yards and eight touchdowns but saw those numbers drop to 41 catches for 608 yards and four scores during his second season.

Things seemed to be trending in an even worse direction at the start of the 2026 campaign, as Harrison failed to surpass the 40-yard mark in any of his first four games. While the 1-4 Cardinals with Jacoby Brissett at quarterback aren't exactly loaded with game-changing talent to make life easier for him, it was still a stunning lack of production for a top-five pick.

For one, he is reunited with Ohio State teammate C.J. Stroud. The duo led the Buckeyes to the College Football Playoff and already have chemistry in place before Harrison even steps on the field for the Texans.

What's more, the AFC South team needs reliable wide receiver options outside of Nico Collins. With Jayden Higgins out for the season and Tank Dell still working his way back, there is an opening for Harrison to step right in and take advantage of the additional space when defenders are too focused on Collins.

It's not a surprise, then, that he seems excited to start with his new team.
