Heading into Week 2, the Houston Texans are dealing with an injury to one of their top offensive weapons.

Per ESPN's Adam Schefter, Nico Collins was limited at practice on Wednesday because of a hamstring injury. Aaron Wilson of KPRC2 noted that Collins will have tests done to determine the severity of the injury.

Collins had a strong start to the season, recording seven receptions for 75 yards and a touchdown in a 36-31 loss to the Buffalo Bills.

The good news is Collins was still able to go through individual drills, so the injury seemingly hasn't impacted his mobility too much.

Collins is coming off his third consecutive season with 1,000-plus receiving yards, recording 1,117 yards and six touchdowns as Houston reached the playoffs for the third year in a row.

The Texans' receiver room already took a hit before the season when Jayden Higgins suffered a torn ACL in August, ending his year before it even started. Higgins was the team's third-leading receiver as a rookie.

It doesn't seem like Collins is looking at a lengthy injury like Higgins', but it's at least something to monitor heading into Week 2.

If Collins is unable to suit up this week, the Texans will look to Kayshon Boutte and Xavier Hutchinson to make up for his absence. Boutte had just one reception for 21 yards in Week 1, while Hutchinson had three catches for 32 yards.

The Texans have their work cut out for them on Sunday as they face a Cincinnati Bengals offense that looked solid in a Week 1 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Being without Collins would make keeping up with the Bengals' offense even more difficult.
