Tom Brady, Patriots' Locker Room Celebrations After 2019 AFC Title Game Win Seen in Viral Video

There's nothing quite like reaching the Super Bowl, even for a franchise that made it a habit.

Video of the New England Patriots celebrating their 37-31 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship Game in January 2019 circulated on social media Tuesday, and many of the dynasty's familiar faces such as Tom Brady, Bill Belichick and Rob Gronkowski play a starring role:

Brady goes around the entire locker room and embraces with a number of people, Belichick looks far happier than he ever does on the sideline and the emotion in the room is palpable even through the screen.

Julian Edelman even told Brady, "I wanna play to make you great."

There was surely a sense of relief in the room as well considering the Patriots won the game in overtime. After Harrison Butker drilled a field goal in the final seconds of regulation to force the extra period, Brady directed a drive in overtime that Rex Burkhead capped with a touchdown run.

Burkhead also scored the Patriots' final touchdown of regulation in the fourth quarter.

Both offenses caught fire with Brady and Patrick Mahomes leading the way in that fourth quarter. New England led 17-7 after three quarters, but the game went into overtime tied at 31 before the Patriots ultimately prevailed.

New England defeated the Los Angeles Rams in the ensuing Super Bowl, giving it a third Lombardi Trophy in a five-year span. That led to another memorable celebration, but the one against the Chiefs stands out in hindsight.
