TCU adds commitment from 2027 OL Gabriel Brooks

North Crowley (Texas) offensive lineman Gabriel Brooks announced on Thursday evening that he has committed to TCU . He was previously committed to Stephen F. Austin, but added an offer from the Horned Frogs earlier this month.

Brooks, who checks in at 6-foot-5 and 275 pounds, is an unranked senior prospect, but he does play for one of the nation's top high school football programs. North Crowley is currently the No. 3 team in the Lone Star State, according to the Rivals Composite Rankings .

"After long conversations with my family and countless prayers, I've made the decision to decommit from SFA and flip to the University of TCU," Brooks wrote on X . "All glory to God for both of the opportunities, but i'm staying (home)."

The O-lineman joins a TCU class that now entered this week at No. 54 in the Rivals Industry Team Recruiting Rankings. Brooks is commitment No. 19 for head coach Sonny Dykes and the in-state Big 12 program.
