Bayern Munich defender offered to Ajax

Bayern Munich defender Hiroki Ito has been offered to Ajax by his management, according to Philipp Kessler .

The Japanese international is surplus to requirements on Vincent Kompany's side and could be in for a last-minute move to the Netherlands.

Ajax are considering a move for the central defender in order to strengthen their backline as they challenge for the Dutch title, which they haven't won since 2022.

Ito's current contract at Bayern runs until 2028, and it's unlikely that the 27-year-old will be offered a new contract. As per TransferMarkt , Ito's transfer value is around €18m.

It's also worth mentioning that the Dutch transfer window closes a day after Germany, meaning Ajax can continue to discuss details beyond the Tuesday deadline in the Bundesliga.
