When he's healthy, San Francisco 49ers star pass rusher Nick Bosa is one of the best pass rushers in the entire league. And despite questions about his health, it sounds like he'll be ready to go for the team's season opener.

Bosa tore his ACL last season and has been recovering ever since. While he may not be back to 100 percent just yet, it sounds like he'll be on the field.

During a game against the Arizona Cardinals on Sept. 21 of 2025, Bosa tore his ACL and underwent surgery just a few days later. That recovery, however, has not exactly gone according to plan.

As Bosa was coming back from his injury over the summer, he experienced a bit of a setback with soreness and tendinitis in his right knee, leading the 49ers to shut him down until Sept. 2, when he returned to practice.

All of that has led to some concern about whether or not he will be ready when the team takes the field in Australia this week, but it sounds like he's going to be there.

During a press conference this week, San Francisco 49ers defensive coordinator Raheem Morris announced that Bosa would indeed be able to play for the Niners when they open the season against the Los Angeles Rams this week.

"Oh, he's going out there. Whatever you want to say, he's going. He'll be there. We're not hiding that," Morris said, via Harrison Rich of the San Francisco Chronicle.

He might not be at 100 percent, but it's pretty clear that he will indeed be on the field for the team as they take on the Super Bowl favorites to open the season.
