The New York Knicks head coach Mike Brown has hailed his team's medical department amid all the injuries in the NBA lately.

The number of injuries this early in the season has been remarkable, with several big names facing a spell on the sidelines already.

The Knicks, however, have been fortunate on the injury front, and Brown thinks he knows the real reason why.

Mike Brown says the New York Knicks' injury luck is down to three people

The New York Knicks have barely been affected by injuries this season.

Jose Alvarado is the only player who is currently sidelined, and according to CBS Sports, he could be back in the first week of November.

The same cannot be said about some of the other teams. Minnesota's Anthony Edwards, Indiana's Tyrese Haliburton, Oklahoma City's Chet Holmgren, Orlando's Paolo Banchero, and Portland's Ja Morant are all currently unavailable due to injuries.

When quizzed about the injury problems across the league this season, Brown attributed his side's luck to three staff members that no other team has: Quentin Dolan, Casey Smith and Anthony "Chico" Goenaga.

He said in his press conference, as per SNY Knicks: "Knock on wood. There are 30 teams, but there's only one Quentin Dolan. One Casey Smith. And one Chico.

"There is only one of those three people, and, knock on wood, the other 29 teams don't have them. So, I don't really care what the rest of them do."

Dolan works as Senior Vice President, Player Performance and Science Leader at the Knicks, advising on performance and science infrastructure, medical and conditioning and player availability.

Smith works as the Vice President of Sports Medicine, and his responsibilities include player health, medical care, performance optimisation and injury prevention for the roster.

Goenaga, popularly known as Chico, works as the Head Athletic Trainer and oversees the team's sports medicine, physical therapy, acute injury care and player rehabilitation programs.
