Hyderabad gets new pickleball, coffee and social hub at Khajagu

A new venue combining pickleball, coffee and social spaces is set to open in Khajaguda on October 2, adding another destination for the city's growing pickleball community.The venue, Pickle District × Madikeri, is being launched by ShowBoat through Doppelt 11 Sports LLP. It will have pickleball courts alongside a coffee and food offering, with the facility open for both recreational play and organised events.Pickle District has become a member of the Telangana Pickleball Association (TPA) and will host tournaments conducted by the association. The courts will also be available for public bookings through Playo and Hudle.The venue will therefore cater to both casual players and those looking to participate in organised competition. Membership options are also planned for a later stage.The October 2 opening is expected to bring together representatives from sport, government, business and Hyderabad's food and hospitality sector. Those expected to attend include Jayesh Ranjan, IAS; G Srijana, IAS, Commissioner, Cyberabad Municipal Corporation; former tennis Olympian Vishnu Vardhan; sportsperson and DSP-in-training Sathwika Sama; pickleball World Cup medallist Prasanthi; and Telangana Pickleball Association member Vamsi.The facility is part of a broader plan to develop sports and hospitality destinations in other markets, with future locations potentially combining sport with food and beverage, wellness and entertainment.The promoters also plan to explore AI-enabled technology as the concept expands, including applications related to player engagement, performance data, facility management and memberships.Located near Gachibowli and Hyderabad's Financial District, the Khajaguda venue will open to the public from October 2.Stay updated with the latest Asian Games 2026 news, check the Asian Games medal tally and complete Asian Games schedule.Get the latest Sports News and Live updates.
