Bismack Biyombo was one of the few players to suit up for both the Charlotte Bobcats and the Charlotte Hornets , as his tenure with the franchise overlapped with the team's name change. Biyombo, who wore the No. 0, was acquired on a draft night trade in 2011 after being selected with the No. 7 overall pick by the Sacramento Kings . Biyombo spent four seasons with Charlotte before signing a free agent deal with the Toronto Raptors ahead of the 2015-16 season. The Congolese native would return to the franchise later on in his career for three more seasons but would wear a different number (No. 8).

During those four seasons to begin his career, Biyombo averaged 4.4 points, 6.4 rebounds, 0.3 assists, 0.3 steals and 1.6 blocks. Now a 15-year NBA veteran, Biyombo most recently played for the San Antonio Spurs , who finished runner-up to the New York Knicks during the 2025-26 season. Now age 34, Biyombo is a current free agent.
