GREEN BAY − Green Bay Packers guard Aaron Banks returned to practice Oct. 14.

Banks has been dealing with knee and toe injuries since the start of the season, playing only in the first half of the Week 2 game against the New York Jets.

Packers coach Matt LaFleur confirmed he would practice on a limited basis.

The Packers have slowly been building some continuity on the interior of the offensive line with Laken Tomlinson stepping in at left guard in place of Banks and Travis Glover starting the past two games at right guard.

The Packers also have Kevin Zeitler at right guard, so it could make for an interesting decision once Banks is healthy and ready to play.

"It's going to be pretty fluid," LaFleur said. "We've got see where he's at. He hasn't practiced in a really long time. I think those other guys have come in and done a really good job."

Three other players missed practice, as the Packers prepare to host the Dallas Cowboys on Oct. 18.

Packers cornerback Keisean Nixon was held out of practice.

Nixon hasn't been on the injury report and played the complete game during the Packers' Oct. 11 win over the Chicago Bears .

The first injury report will be released today to provide more clarity on his injury.

He was present and off to the side with the rest of the rehab group.

Packers cornerback Benjamin St-Juste also was out during practice.

He's been dealing with a hamstring injury throughout this season and injured it again during the Bears game.

Packers receiver and return specialist Skyy Moore did not participate in practice.

Moore suffered an ankle injury during the Bears game.

LaFleur said he doesn't anticipate it to be a long-term injury.

Packers guard Jacob Monk was dressed out and participating in practice.

Monk made his return to practice Oct. 9, but missed his second straight game due to a quadricep injury.

Packers defensive tackle Anthony Campbell was present at practice.

Campbell participated in practice all of last week, as well, but was ruled out for the third straight game after injuring his ankle during the Week 2 game against the New York Jets.

Packers receiver Savion Williams was practicing and working toward his return to game action.

Williams returned to practice Oct. 7 officially opening his 21-day practice window. He opened the season on injured reserve due to an ankle injury in preseason.

Packers defensive tackle Jordon Riley participated in practice Oct. 14 for the first time since last season.

Riley suffered a season-ending Achilles injury during the Week 17 game against the Baltimore Ravens.

He opened the season on the physically-unable-to-perform list. Riley's 21-day practice window is now open, and the Packers can decide to activate him at any time.
