Sharks Unveil Korean-Inspired Corn Dog Concession Menu Item With Blue Taki Coating in Photo

One week away from their 2026-27 regular-season home opener, the San Jose Sharks have provided a first-look at one of their new concession items fans can look forward to purchasing at SAP Center.

The Sharks announced on Thursday they will be selling a Korean-inspired corn dog called the K-chomp dog.

The K-chomp dog is made from a combination of spicy Louisiana sausage, pepper jack cheese with Korean BBQ sauce that is coated with Blue Takis.

Fans who purchase will receive it in a custom Sharks-themed packaging that looks like an open shark's mouth. The K-chomp dog is only going to be available at the Club 117 section at SAP Center at a cost of $13.25.

Korean barbecue has become very popular in the Bay Area, including celebrated Korean BBQ restaurant Baekjeong opening a location in San Jose in 2023.

Thursday's announcement comes exactly seven days before the Sharks drop the puck on their 2026-27 season. They will host the Florida Panthers on Oct. 1 at 10 p.m. ET.

San Jose is looking to build on its most successful season since 2018-19. The Sharks finished the 2025-26 campaign with a 39-35-8 record and 86 points, but they missed the playoffs for the seventh consecutive year.
