Vote for The Daily Herald's TSSAA football Athlete of the Week from Week 9

After a Week 9 slate full of standout high school football performers, you can now cast your vote to decide The Daily Herald's Columbia area TSSAA football Athlete of the Week.

J'Mari Hall, Columbia Central: Hall had 13 carries for 84 yards and a touchdown, while on defense he recorded 10 tackles, one for a loss, an interception, a pass breakup and a blocked field goal in a 28-24 win over Lincoln County.

Kavondre Young, Lawrence County: Young rushed 19 times for 109 yards and two touchdowns in a 31-13 win over Franklin County.

Kale Scott, Mt. Pleasant: Scott was 17-of-19 passing for 297 yards and five touchdowns in a 38-10 win over East Hickman.

Caleel Hardison, Spring Hill: Hardison had 13 tackles, three for a loss, two sacks, a blocked PAT and a fumble recovery returned for a touchdown in a 48-20 win over Battle Creek.

Kasen White, Spring Hill: White rushed 14 times for 185 yards and two touchdowns in the win over Battle Creek.

McKaleb Powell, Summertown: Powell had five carries for 77 yards with a touchdown, returned a punt 67 yards for a touchdown and recorded an interception on defense in a 49-19 win over Richland.

Charles Williams, Summit: Williams rushed 10 times for 41 yards with a touchdown and had a 16-yard touchdown reception in a 42-14 win over Coffee County.

Jayden Hughes, Zion Christian: Hughes caught eight passes for 119 yards and a touchdown in a 34-21 defeat to Ezell-Harding. On defense he added seven tackles with a sack, a pass breakup and a blocked PAT.
