NLCS Game 1 – Dodgers at Brewers discussion
Who will represent the Senior Circuit in the 2026 World Series?
The Los Angeles Dodgers and Milwaukee Brewers kick off the championship series this Sunday, with a chance to represent the National League in the World Series. These two franchises have met three times in the NLCS, with Los Angeles taking both previous series in 2018 and 2025.
The Brewers come into the series following a franchise-record 103-win season and looking to avenge last year's sweep at the hands of the Dodgers en route to their World Series win. The Dodgers look to duplicate their dominant pitcher performance from last year, when Milwaukee only averaged one run per game against them in the sweep. Now sporting trade deadline acquisition Tarik Skubal, Los Angeles is trying to keep the starting rotation edge. But, Milwaukee will have Jacob Misiorowski and Logan Henderson going in the first two games, giving them a better chance against the Dodgers compared to last postseason.
These two franchises are the only MLB teams with at least 86 wins in the last nine full seasons, with Milwaukee having the best record in baseball the past two seasons. Los Angeles is chasing a chance to win their third consecutive World Series and become the first NL team to achieve that feat, and the first since the New York Yankees did so in 1998-2000.
The game starts at 7 PM Kauffman Standard Time, live on FOX, FOX Deportes, and FOX One. ESPN Radio will also provide national coverage of this game.
Who are you rooting for on the NL side of the bracket? Can the Brewers dethrone the Dodgers, or is another World Series berth for Los Angeles inevitable?
