Why Shane Beamer yelled at South Carolina star Dylan Stewart on sideline vs Alabama

After the third touchdown of the first half for Alabama , a replay showed South Carolina football coach Shane Beamer laying into his star edge rusher Dylan Stewart.

The ESPN broadcasters said it appeared that Beamer was yelling at Stewart for slowly walking off the field or not getting off fast enough.

On that same drive, Stewart was called for a roughing the passer penalty and it ultimately ended with a 42-yard touchdown from Ryan Coleman-Williams.

Beamer walked over with Stewart to the sideline and then Stewart's position coach Deion Barnes came over to Stewart as well.

ESPN sideline reporter Taylor McGregor reported that there was a lot of yelling between the Gamecocks players, but encouraging yells with the intention of playing better, she said.

South Carolina trails 21-3 on the road with five minutes left in the second quarter.
