Gymnast Pranati Nayak finishes sixth in Asian Games vault final

India's Pranati Nayak finished sixth in the women's vault final in artistic gymnastics at the Asian Games in Nagoya on Thursday.The 31-year-old, India's only gymnast at the Games, scored 13.100 in the eight-woman final.Pranati scored 12.900 on both her first and second vaults. She attempted a difficulty score of 4.4 on both vaults and received an execution score of 8.500 each time. A 0.20 bonus was added to her total, taking her overall score to 13.100.Pranati had recovered from a leg injury to qualify for the Asian Games.South Korea's Yeo Seojeong won the gold medal with 14.100.
