Augsburg's trip to Leipzig could hardly have started any better. With less than 60 seconds on the clock, Anton Kade found the net for FCA. Leipzig, however, shrugged off the early shock without missing a beat.
By half-time, they had turned things around to take a comfortable 3–1 lead. And in the second half, there was no stopping the RBL express, which was now in full flow.
Romulo and Baumgartner even made it 5–1. An FCA comeback looks highly unlikely. Leipzig have well and truly put Augsburg away today.
