After controversial penalty, Moledo reveals threats against his family

Coritiba defender Moledo was the central figure in last Tuesday's (3) clash between Internacional and Coxa after conceding a stoppage-time penalty to his former club.

The foul led to Alerrandro's goal, which secured victory for a still-desperate Colorado and kept the Paraná side firmly on alert in the battle against relegation.

The Coritiba defender had not spoken publicly since the match in Porto Alegre.

That changed this Friday (6), when he posted a story on his Instagram profile.

He said he had made the "wrong decision" when he caught Juninho.

He also revealed that his family had received threats on social media.

According to journalist Rogerio Scarione, Moledo cried uncontrollably after the match in Porto Alegre. He even needed to be comforted by his teammates.

Coritiba currently sit 12th with 42 points.

They are five points clear of Corinthians, who occupy the first relegation spot.

What concerns many Coritiba fans is the remaining fixture list.

After the international break, Coritiba will host Santos.
