WWE RAW aired its September 7 episode from Alabama, presenting the fallout from Sunday Night’s Main Event. The show finally saw the return of a top star who had been rumored to leave the company. Apart from that, the Money in the Bank qualifiers began, and the night was capped with a major Women’s title showdown between Liv Morgan and Stephanie Vaquer.What happened in the opening segment of WWE RAW this week?The Vision made their way to the ring to open the show. With Bronson Reed’s return, Bron Breakker said that the faction was now complete. They mocked Oba Femi after the beatdown they gave him at Sunday Night’s Main Event and looked ahead to the future. Akira Tozawa came out while Austin Theory was talking, followed by Otis and it led to a match between them right there.Otis vs. Austin TheoryThis was the opening contest of the night. It was a back-and-forth in-ring affair between the two superstars until Bronson Reed attacked Otis, leading to a DQ. They take him out and turn their focus on Tozawa, until Oba Femi arrives and makes the save. However, it is Femi who is instead beaten down by The Vision.Bron Breakker vs. Ethan Page vs. Rey MysterioThis was the Men’s Money in the Bank qualifying match. All competitors produced a great bout until the final moments, when Bron Breakker hit the double Frankensteiner on both his opponents and took out Rey Mysterio with a spear to win the match.Lyra Valkyria vs. Sol Ruca vs. Maxxine Dupri This was the Women’s Money in the Bank qualifying match. The action was jam-packed between the three competitors. In the closing moments, Lyra Valkyria hit the Night Wing on Maxxine Dupri, but Bayley made her shocking return and pulled the referee. The distraction allowed Sol Ruca to hit a Sol Snatcher on her for the win.Joe Hendry vs JD McDonagh The singles match between Joe Hendry and JD McDonagh saw Je’Von Evans stopping Dominik Mysterio’s interference. This led to Hendry hitting McDonagh with the Sound Effect finisher and winning the match.Liv Morgan vs. Stephanie Vaquer This was the main event for the WWE Women’s World Championship. Liv Morgan and Stephanie Vaquer produced a stellar showdown. It saw the interference of Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez, but Becky Lynch stopped them.
