‘I would like to see more’: Terence Crawford reacts to Sebastian Fundora’s win
Sebastian Fundora scored a stoppage in the final second of the fight.
Sebastian Fundora came out on top in his title defense this past the weekend against Ermal Hadribeaj , but not all were overly impressed with the performance. Terence Crawford would give his analysis of what he saw in the fight and explains why he believes Fundora is going to have to show improvements if he's going to take on the other elite fighters at 154.
"I'm a little more disappointed in Hadribeaj corner. Here you have a guy working his butt off, trying to keep this guy off of him, using these tactics, and you see him putting his feet on the ropes trying to get some rest and you still don't bring the stool in to get this man off his feet. That's the inexperience that I just didn't like.
"He was doing good from the first couple of rounds and then it just started declining because you see Fundora picking up the pace…But to credit Fundora, he did what he had to do but at the same time, I would like to see more.
"He's getting hit with those overhand lefts, overhand rights, and he's not throwing the right hook. I'm saying 'where's the right hook.' This guy did not throw the right hook one time and he's going to need that if he fights those guys like Boots and Vergil."
