📋 Botafogo line up to pull clear of bottom four; Atlético-MG eye top six

Botafogo and Atlético-MG face off at Estádio Nilton Santos this Wednesday (4) at 9:30 p.m. (Brasília time), in Matchday 34 of the 2026 Brasileirão.

Glorioso are languishing in 13th place with 39 points and are looking to return to winning ways after two winless games to pull away from the relegation zone.

Galo, meanwhile, sit seventh with 50 points and are also seeking a first win in three games to overtake sixth-placed Bahia (53 points).

Following their last match (a 2–1 defeat to Remo), Botafogo coach Tite has brought in Justino, Paulinho, Edenilson, Danilo Pereira and Tiquinho for Alex Telles, Andrade, Ziyech, Matheus Martins and Arthur Cabral, respectively.

With Atlético involved in the Copa do Brasil semifinals and trailing Grêmio 2–0 after the first leg, coach Eduardo Domínguez is fielding an entirely second-string side.
