Fans hand out grades to Bengals for win over Dolphins
The results are in and fans say the Bengals passed the test against the Dolphins.
The Cincinnati Bengals beat the Miami Dolphins 31-24 at Hard Rock Stadium in Week 5 to move to 3-2 on the year and are starting their bye week.
The offense was more balanced , the defense got three turnovers and special teams almost opened the game with kickoff return for a touchdown. While the margin of victory was only one score, the game was never really in doubt in the second half.
Cincinnati will head to Baltimore to face the Ravens in Week 7 after the bye. The Ravens (4-1) are coming off a win over the Atlanta Falcons and head to Cleveland to face the Browns on Oct. 18.

Here's how our gameday staff graded the Bengals in the win:
Joe Burrow's four touchdown passes stood out the most on the final stat sheet, but the near 50-50 balance of runs and passes were the story of the day . The efficient run game – 3.8 yards per carry – allowed the pass game to operate smoothly and led to the spectacular 45-yard touchdown catch by Ja'Marr Chase near the end of the third quarter.
Defensive back Jordan Battle backed up his comments earlier in the week with a two-interception performance against Dolphins quarterback Malik Willis. The defense won the turnover battle 3-1 and kept Miami from making the game close until there was less than a minute remaining. Miami gashed the Bengals defense for 217 rushing yards, but the turnovers and pivotal sacks on Willis made the day for Cincinnati.
Kicker Evan McPherson now owns the franchise record for consecutive field goals made (22) and will have a chance to add to that in Week 7 against the Ravens. Wide receiver Dohnte Meyers also took the opening kickoff 81 yards to give the Bengals great field position to start the game and set the tone. The only real issue on special teams was when Meyers went out of bounds after fielding a kickoff to pin the Bengals at their own 4-yard line, which is why this isn't an A.
