Eagles vs. Panthers Week 6 live chat

The Philadelphia Eagles are back home in Week 6 for a tough matchup against the Carolina Panthers.

We're here. It's game day. Things feel weird. But, always, Go Birds!

Tanner McKee will be back at the helm of the offense, but he will at least have DeVonta Smith and Dallas Goedert to help elevate things. The QB also has several years of connection with Darius Cooper, so hopefully Cooper continues his impressive streak on Sunday.

Stay on top of every Eagles update and debate every snap with other diehard Birds fans. Game-day discussion is smoother in the SB Nation app.

The past two weeks have been really wild for Eagles fans, and the uncertainty seems to grow by the day. For now, Howie Roseman hasn't started panic buying or selling, and most of the roster moves he's made are to bring back guys who were in Philly over the summer. The GM still has just under a month until the NFL trade deadline, but if the team puts together a decent performance this week and can just hold strong while they get injured guys back, there's still a lot of reasons to believe in the roster.

Week 6 is here… and at least it's one week closer to the bye week.

Q2 [CAR 10 – PHI 7]: THE EAGLES SCORED! They were able to close the gap ahead of halftime, with Dameon Pierce punching it in two yards for the touchdown.

Q2 [CAR 10 – PHI 0]: The Panthers extended their lead by way of a 12-yard TD pass by Bryce Young to Tommy Tremble. Carolina's offense might have better luck in the second half now that the Eagles officially ruled OLB Nolan Smith out with a concussion .

Q1 [CAR 3 – PHI 0]: The Panthers were the first on the board Sunday thanks to a 47-yard field goal.
