Ryan Fitzpatrick jumps through table at Bills home opener

If Pat McAfee might be the wildest and craziest guy in all of sports television, Ryan Fitzpatrick may be a close second.

The first official Thursday Night Football game of the season saw the Amazon Prime Video crew travel to the opening of Highmark Stadium as the Buffalo Bills hosted the Detroit Lions . The Bills got out to an incredible 21-0 start with the crowd at a fever pitch, and ended up cruising to a 41-31 victory.

Along with the opening of a new stadium comes plenty of ceremonies and festivities. But only in Buffalo will it come with a WWE-style breaking of tables. That's where Fitzpatrick comes in.

Although Ryan Fitzpatrick played in 17 NFL seasons for nine different teams, he is probably most associated with the Buffalo Bills thanks to his four seasons as a starter from 2009-2012. So it was only appropriate that he did the deed of taking an honorary table bump in the stadium to get the crowd hyped up.

You have to give Fitz credit, that was some pretty sensational form on the elbow drop. And the slow-motion replay made it look even better. If McAfee is serious about never returning to pro wrestling , maybe the former quarterback can take his place in the "former NFL player turned television analyst turned wrestler" category. Just as long as he doesn't suddenly start managing Randy Orton , we'll be good.

Speaking of the pro wrestling antics, Fitzpatrick wasn't done there. In the postgame show, he opened up his suit to reveal his glorious chest hair to an adoring crowd of Bills fans.

Ryan Fitzpatrick is definitely not your average Harvard graduate.
