Jacksonville Jaguars Week 2 inactives vs. Denver Broncos

The Jacksonville Jaguars (1-0) look to extend their regular-season win streak to 10 starting at 4:05 against the Denver Broncos (0-1) in a rematch of last season's meeting.

Jacksonville defeated the Broncos 34-20 in Week 16 last year, snapping Denver's 11-game win streak.

While the Jaguars and the Broncos experienced opposite ends of the spectrum in Week 1, the matchup is expected to be competitive, with Denver looking to get back to what they do best. Last week against the Kansas City Chiefs , the Broncos couldn't slow down running back Kenneth Walker .

Walker rushed for 173 yards and a touchdown against Denver, the second-best team in the league at stopping the run last season.

Meanwhile, the Jaguars hope to establish the run with Bhayshul Tuten and Chris Rodriguez Jr. receiving the bulk of the carries. Last week, Tuten rushed for 4.4 yards per carry, looking strong in his first game as a lead back.

However, Jacksonville's star quarterback is Trevor Lawrence . Lawrence was surgical in his play against Denver last season, completing 23 of 26 passes for 279 and three touchdowns. Lawrence added a rushing touchdown in the contest.

Jacksonville entered the week with few injury concerns. The team placed defensive end B.J. Green on injured reserve early in the week, enabling undrafted free agent rookie Bryan Thomas Jr. to take his place.

Ahead of the game, Jacksonville elevated linebacker Jalen McLeod and quarterback Nick Mullens from the practice squad to the active roster via standard elevation.
