Florida State to host elite in-state 2028 OT this weekend
2028 four-star offensive tackle Jackson Snelling will visit Florida State this weekend when they take on Clemson.
Florida State needs to land some offensive linemen in the next two recruiting cycles, as they're without one in each. As far as 2028 goes, four-star offensive tackle Jackson Snelling is a recruit they've been after heavily since the spring.
He got an offer from FSU during an unofficial visit in April, and then he returned for a camp in June. As the Seminoles get set to take on the Clemson Tigers this weekend in Tallahassee, Snelling will be one of the many recruits on campus.
He explained why he keeps coming back to see Florida State.
"I'll definitely say the relationship I have with the coaches with coach Hand, coach Manrey, coach Norvell. Definitely a top Florida school that I've been consistent with and have great a relationship with," Snelling told Chad Simmons of Rivals.
The Florida Gators are the other top contender within the state of Florida for Snelling, and he took an unofficial visit to see them last Month. He also has offers from the UCF Knights, USF Bulls, and the Florida International Panthers.
Snelling is the nation's No. 193 prospect and the No. 17 offensive tackle per Rivals industry rankings. He's also the No. 22 recruit in Florida.
The Cardinal Mooney High Star would be a great addition to FSU's 2028 class, which currently ranks No. 6 in the country .
