Giants could be down another cornerback on Monday.

· 193 words

Deonte Banks of the New York Giants did not practice for the second straight day on Saturday and is listed as questionable with a calf injury for Monday's game against the Los Angeles Rams .

That news comes one day after the Giants put cornerback Paulson Adebo on injured reserve with a knee injury.

Banks was in and out of the Week 1 victory over the Dallas Cowboys with what was said to be cramping.

The Giants added two cornerbacks this week for depth. Nikko Reed was signed off the Los Angeles Chargers ' practice squad to New York's 53-man roster. Jaden Robinson, formerly with the Denver Broncos , was added to the practice squad. Robinson could be a game day elevation for the Giants on Monday night.

The Giants' starting cornerbacks are likely to be Greg Newsome and rookie second-round pick Colton Hood.

The only other Giant with an injury designation for Monday is backup linebacker Micah McFadden , who is questionable with a neck injury.

The Rams could be without star wide receiver Puka Nacua . He did not practice Saturday due to a hip injury, and is listed as questionable.
