High school football - Vote for Varsity 845 top mid-season player

We have reached the virtual mid-point of the Section 9 11-man high school football season.

Goshen, Burke Catholic and Middletown have gotten out to 4-0 starts. Valley Central has been an early surprise at 3-1, joining Highland, Newburgh and Washingtonville. And traditional powers Cornwall and Monroe-Woodbury have stumbled out of the gate but can never be ruled out.

What makes up these teams are outstanding individuals, and many of the coaches have nominated their top players to see who many consider to be the Varsity 845 mid-season top football player from Orange, Ulster and Sullivan counties.

We ask the fans to vote here, and as often as you like, until 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 5. The poll can be found at RecordOnline.com/sports/high-school/ .
