Mark van Bommel names Newcastle United star in his first squad

Mark van Bommel has named his first squad.

This comes after taking over from former Belgium boss Rudi Garcia.

Van Bommel has named a 28 man squad for four Nations League matches and included in the selection is Newcastle United 's Matias Fernandez-Pardo.

Belgium play away at Italy on Friday 25 September, then France at home on Monday 28 September.

Another home game against Turkey on Friday 2 October, before then playing away against France on Monday 5 October.
