Kyle Williams may have been the standout performer for the New England Patriots in the preseason this year.

"With the Patriots trading Kayshon Boutte to the Houston Texans, the performance of Kyle Williams this preseason will be encouraging for their coaching staff," PFF's Gordon McGuinness wrote. "He averaged 4.37 yards per route run and 27.7 yards per reception, finishing the preseason with 166 yards and three touchdowns."

Williams made his presence felt in all three games for New England. He was able to break free from his man after the snap on multiple occasions by shaking off the corner with his go-to stutter step, before catching deep passes that he ended up taking to the house.

The overall performance for Williams gives him more to use in his attempt to earn more snaps in New England in 2026.
