Hull City have confirmed that new signing Sorba Thomas escaped without injury after his Land Rover Defender flipped onto its roof near the club’s training ground. Pictures from the scene showed the luxury vehicle upside down on Millhouse Wood Lane in Cottingham on Friday morning.The 27-year-old Wales international was reportedly on his way to training when the crash happened. Emergency services attended the scene, while a Hull City staff member, understood to be manager Sergej Jakirovic, was also pictured at the location. The crash happened at around 9am on Friday, September 11, 2026.Police said, “Officers and emergency services are currently in attendance following reports of a road traffic collision on Milllhouse Woods Lane, Cottingham at around 9am on Friday, 11 September 2026. The road remains closed and motorists are advised to avoid the area to allow emergency services to operate effectively.”Images shared on social media showed Thomas’ Land Rover Defender overturned on the residential road. The vehicle also appeared to have suffered damage, including smashed glass.A Hull City staff member was seen at the scene.
