Garfield vs. Liberty, OHSAA high school football photos

Josie App scored for the Rovers on an assist from Liliana Bevelacqua. Rootstown's Addison Pownall saved 12 of the 13 shots that came her way.

Rootstown def. Waterloo, 25-19, 25-10, 25-21

The Rovers picked up their 11th win of the season, guided by 27 assists from Olivia O'Neill. Sophi Smith added 11 kills, 11 digs and eight aces for Rootstown.

West Geauga def. Crestwood, 25-8, 30-28, 25-17

The Wolverines swept Monday's nonleague game, helped by an epic second set. The Red Devils fell despite double-digit digs from Jackie Blasiole (16) and Macy Davis (12). Haley Podojil added double-digit assists for Crestwood.

Champion def. Windham, 25-21, 25-18, 25-14

The Bombers fell despite nine kills and three blocks from Makenna Jones. Kyleigh Simpson added nine assists for Windham while Spencer Houghton had eight digs.
