Titans to waive QB Will Levis

The Titans are waiving quarterback Will Levis, Paul Kuharsky of paulkuharsky.com reports.

Levis' departure leaves Mitchell Trubisky and Hendon Hooker behind Cam Ward.

The Titans traded up to take the Kentucky quarterback with the first pick of the second round in 2023. The team had hoped he would succeed Ryan Tannehill, but three different head coaches didn't help his development.

He served as the Titans' starting quarterback in 2024, but Tennessee drafted Ward in 2025, and Levis spent the season on injured reserve. Levis missed all of last season after undergoing season-ending surgery on his throwing shoulder to fix the AC joint.

Levis, 27, started 21 games, going 5-16 while throwing 21 touchdowns and 16 interceptions and losing 10 fumbles.
