After confirming that new signing Giannis Konstantelias has suffered an anterior cruciate ligament injury, Borussia Dortmund could look to strengthen their attacking options before the transfer window closes.
According to Bild, Newcastle United and Germany forward Nick Woltemade is among the options being considered by the Black and Yellows.
From a financial perspective, a loan deal would probably be the only realistic option for BVB.
Dortmund were already linked with a move for Woltemade back in April, following the appointment of Ole Book as sporting director.
The 40-year-old previously brought Woltemade to Elversberg on loan from Werder Bremen for the 2022/23 season.
