Eagles star returns after suffering injury on first play vs. Titans (UPDATE)

UPDATE: Eagles star Saquon Barkley returned on the first play of the third quarter against the Titans.

NASHVILLE, Tenn.— Eagles running back Saquon Barkley suffered a stinger on Philadelphia 's first offensive play on on Sunday against the Tennessee Titans at Nissan Stadium.

Barkley suffered the injury while getting tackled by Titans star Jeffery Simmons . Simmons brought Barkley down for no gain.

Barkley is questionable to return against Tennessee, the team announced. He spent most of Philadelphia's first offensive drive in the medical tent. After being evaluated, he jogged into the locker room.

If Barkley doesn't return, the Eagles will lean on backup running backs Tank Bigsby and Will Shipley to carry the load. The Eagles could struggle to run the ball with Barkley sidelined.
