Sean McVay hopeful Rams don’t play in Australia again

If teleportation existed, and or had the Los Angeles Rams won in Australia, then perhaps Sean McVay would feel different, but as it stands McVay is happy the game in Australia is over. McVay is hopeful the Rams never have to play a game like that again.

McVay, a true company man, says the atmosphere down under was "great", however one can assume the travel, the idea of playing so far from home, the fact that L.A. got whooped up on, McVay appears content to leave that game and experience in the past.

It's interesting, and maybe one day we'll hear McVay talk about what went right and what went wrong during the team's preparation for their Australian game. As it stands, what we know is the Rams lost, and now they want to turn the page. Easier said than done.

From the sound of it, Week 1 isn't exactly all in the past, yet. In fact, Week 1 is still very much in the present, until the Rams can give fans a reason to believe otherwise. If winning is a cure-all, then losing is a deadly poison. The Rams are 0-2 in their last two games played. Facts. Can they find a cure Monday night?

"McVay said the Rams have moved forward from the loss to the 49ers.

"It's almost like you try and do the 'Men in Black' thing," McVay said, referencing the movie franchise, "where you say all right, 'hey I don't remember what happened.' That was so long ago. We're not playing in Australia ever again, I hope. Not because it wasn't a great atmosphere. That will get taken out of context."

"Bottom line is, I like the way that I feel of our preparation, eyes moving forward, chest out, chin up, eyes forward, and let's go be about it," McVay said. "Let's go prepare the right way. Let's have great focus and concentration. Let's have a great energy and an edge in which we prepare and compete with and then let's go be ready to go against a really damn good football team. What they looked like in Week 1, we got a great challenge ahead. That's what every week is. We're excited to compete. All we can do is really have a great day of preparation today."

" Nate Landman , Omar Speights , Kam Curl and Kamren Kinchens were among the players who got banged up in the season opener, so their health will bear monitoring throughout the week leading up to Monday's game. After practice on Thursday, the Rams released their first injury report of Week 2, listing several key players on it.

Curl, Speights and Landman were all listed as limited participants on Thursday, while Kinchens missed practice altogether. Davante Adams got a veteran rest day, too."

"Former Los Angeles Rams veteran wide receiver Brandin Cooks once played in back-to-back Super Bowls but lost both. But the wideout could be working toward another crack at a title with an AFC contender this season.

According to the NFL transaction wire, Cooks tried out for the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday. Cooks was the only tryout player Baltimore brought in.

Cooks played for the Rams from 2018-19. During his first season with the club, Los Angeles went won the NFC championship. The previous year, Cooks won the AFC championship with the New England Patriots ."

The Rams can't afford a lack of discipline as they attempt to right the ship in Week 2. They need every member of the defense buttoned up and at attention, particularly on the defensive front."

"Big opportunity over the next few weeks for Josaiah Stewart & Wesley Bailey. Call me crazy, but if they produce and show that they can make an impact, I would consider trading Byron Young before the deadline to get some draft capital in return. I don't see the Rams paying him, especially if he wants crazy money.

"Especially with Myles & AD, anybody with talent and potential will produce and put up number on the opposite side. Look at Leonard Floyd & Dante Fowler.
