The Colonels enter at 1-0 after opening their season with a convincing 44-10 victory over Mississippi Valley State. Nicholls raced out to a 37-0 halftime lead, forcing four turnovers while Ean Rodrigue threw three touchdown passes. Kansas State will make its 2026 season debut in the first game of the Collin Klein era.
