Brennan Poole's race recap in the Truck Chase race at Kansas in 2026

Brennan Poole finished 17th at Kansas Speedway in Spire Motorsports' No. 7 Chevrolet. Poole started 19th and remained around the middle of the field for most of Saturday's weather-interrupted race.

The veteran stayed clear of the major Stage 3 crash and avoided the flat tires that affected several competitors during the closing run. Poole gained two positions and finished on the lead lap, 9.619 seconds behind race winner Kaden Honeycutt. His truck remained intact throughout a race that lasted deep into the evening because of the lengthy weather stoppage.

Poole received zero Truck Series driver points because he was designated as ineligible for championship points at Kansas. His 17th-place finish therefore did not alter the Truck driver standings or Chase picture. The result still contributed to the No. 7 team's owner points and provided Spire with a completed race despite Poole's ineligible driver status.
