Miami Dolphins Fans: 2026-2027 Season Predictions
Miami Dolphins fans share their predictions for the current season.
The post that I should have put up two weeks ago went up two days ago: the Miami Dolphins 2026-2027 season predictions.
What are your Miami Dolphins season-long predictions? Record? Leaders in various categories on the defense, offense, and special teams? Do you have any bold predictions to go along with your normal run-of-the-mill predictions? Whatever your season-long predictions are for this version of the Miami Dolphins, we want to hear them…all!
Below are some of your thoughts and answers
Yarganaught just wants to enjoy the games.
We've seen seasons where the Fins were expected to be bad… "worst O-line in the NFL history" was brandished. But for me, the difference between the seasons when Philbin was coach and Flores were that the players and their attitudes. One team was defeated, while the other was a bunch of no-named scrapers who eventually turned an 0-7 into something. I actually enjoyed that season with Flores perhaps the most of any in recent memory. No expectations. New names every week. Just fun football (win or lose). In fact, it was more frustrating to watch Tua, Tyreek, and Waddle go to work… and lose to a team they should have beaten. This season… I'm going to enjoy watching every game.

SlayerNation1 doesn't seem any more confident in the new regime than the old one.
Unchanged at 3 wins. Probably the third win will be Week 18 just to ensure picking #2 instead of #1… ….why?…. because that's what this organization does. The names change, but the Dolphins will always Dolphin. Even with #1 pick, they would try to outsmart the World and pick this generation's Ryan Leaf and pass over Peyton Manning . "Dolphining " means they always want to be right rather than get it right. Then double down, triple down, give unmerited extensions, and so on…

MiamiItaliano has the team getting better as the season progresses and J-Rod for DPOY.
Well I'll have to revise the win total ceiling to 5 games. That Raiders game should have been winnable. I do think that the team improves later in the year. Jacob Rodriguez rookie DPOY, I'm calling it now.
Jptapt has the OL improving, with Chop starting to look more and more like a bust.
I started with 7 wins and now I'll adjust that to 6. The OL will get it together and end in the top ten. Chop will continue to have problems.

Miketmo80 is another who is not feeling so positive about things under the new regime.
1-17, Fire Slowik Our offensive line was horrendous. Malik could never get off a throw without being hit. Moreover, the coach did nothing to adjust to the pressure. You have a mobile QB, why are you not rolling out? Or doing QB designed runs, or RPO, nothing. Only win I see possible is Jets at home and even that is iffy. Would not be surprised if we go 0-17 and fire everyone AGAIN, and start over AGAIN!

Tannenbum might need someone to check on them.
The lone loss of the season is behind us, but the bad news is that we're now most surely relegated to an embarrassing 2nd seed and yet ANOTHER imperfect season by finishing at a rather unimpressive 20-1.
Dolfanjoe says one of those wins we could have had is now in the rearview window.
Was at 4, going down to three. Had this game as a win for us, that did not happen ! Still have us splitting a game with the Jets and two teams who take us to lightly and the ball bounces our way. Win loss means little this year. Improvement, finding more talent. Hafley going thru the motions of a first Coach who has to learn and improve also. One thing for sure, it is going to be a long season. By the end of it we will see who deserves to be on this team and who will most likely be replaced.
Ejplaya doesn't see much winning for Miami this season either.
While I think we improve as the season goes, i have a hard time seeing us winning more than 2-3 games tops. If the d line and Willis and the special teams aren't dramatically better than that first game we could actually go 0-17. Don't see that happening though.
Nator56 doesn't see anything changing until ownership changes.
Going to be a long year. And to be honest it's been 50 years since this team mattered . Just another rebuild..team won't be right till we have new ownership…Sell Sell Sell Stephen .you are good at that at least😆😆😆
FLexile is very positive given what we have seen thus far.
USMCFinPhreak brought us back to a dark time and the one bright spot that season.
I'm having revelations of 2007. Question for me is, who will be the Greg Camarillo this season? 1-16. Hope I'm wrong.
StanleyDoyle1 says those two wins are coming!
I'll stick with my initial prediction of 2-15. I'm looking forward to seeing the rookies blossom.
So do you believe me now? I said 2-15. I said no depth. I said no secondary. Now I'm not even sure if they win 1. I predicted offense avg 15-20 ppg, and defense giving up 30-35 ppg. I'm on track. Next year with a good draft and FA money will be totally different.
Well, it seems there isn't much hope for this season, and rightfully so. Any Dolphins fan expecting anything that looks like success across the board on the football field this season will be sorely disappointed. As always, thank you to everyone who took the time to join in and answer our question of the day. If you missed our original post and would like to give your season-long predictions, please add your thoughts in the comments section below.
