Vote for the Varsity 845 girls soccer players of the week for Sept. 21-27

The Varsity 845 girls soccer players of the week polls are online for Sept. 21-27.

Information was utilized on reports gathered by Varsity 845. Coaches are encouraged to provide their game reports in order for athletes to be chosen; they may also nominate one player from their team by Sunday afternoon. One athlete per team is eligible each week until the postseason. Candidates play for Orange, Ulster, Sullivan county schools.

Winners of each weekly contest will be ineligible for the ensuing two weeks during the regular season. Last week, Julia Vernon of Washingtonville (large) and Alexandra Potosek of Rockland (small) won the voter polls. Two weeks ago, Abigail Munger of Pine Bush and Allison Froehlich of Rockland won the large- and small-school polls.
