Lions vs. Bills live score updates, highlights, analysis
Live score updates, highlights and news from Detroit Lions vs. Buffalo Bills on Sunday night.
The Detroit Lions and Buffalo Bills are seeking to become the first 2-0 teams of the 2026 NFL season with a big Thursday night showdown. It's a huge night for the Bills organization, as they debut their new Highmark Stadium for their first home regular season game. But it's also huge for them to prove that last week's big road win over the Houston Texans was just the beginning for a team that has struggled to get over the proverbial hump.
The Lions have just as much—if not, more—to prove. Week 1 was the definition of an ugly win for the Lions. They blew a 21-0 lead and needed overtime to take down what many believe to be a mediocre New Orleans Saints team. The Lions have had a fair amount of doubters all offseason, and Sunday's opener didn't do much to silence them. However, a win in a hostile environment on national television would be quite the statement and rebound performance.
The Lions and Bills face off a 8:15 p.m. ET on Thursday night. When the game kicks off, I'll be providing live updates of the game in the space below. That includes score updates, drive-by-drive analysis, highlights, and injury news throughout the game. When the game concludes around 11:30 p.m., this post will turn into a full-fledged recap of "Thursday Night Football."
So grab one last cup of coffee, finish up your dinner, and get ready for a long night of exciting football in Buffalo.
