Collins did not participate in Houston's Thursday or Friday sessions.
The injury is a Grade 1 hamstring strain, according to Aaron Wilson. Collins will not be placed on injured reserve at this point, but the Texans could be without him beyond Week 2 as he works back from the injury.
Collins had already made an impact in Week 1. He caught seven of 10 targets for 75 yards and a touchdown against the Bills. He also added seven rushing yards on one carry.
