Watch Bayley Attack Lyra in Surprise Return to WWE Raw After Rumors Surrounding New Contract

Bayley made her return to WWE Raw on Monday night to get revenge on Lyra Valkyria after being off television for nearly two months following Lyra's post-match attack at WWE Saturday Night's Main Event in July.

Sol Ruca pinned Lyra after Bayley's distraction to qualify for Money in the Bank, eliminating Lyra's chances for the ladder match, unless there's a last-chance qualifier in the future.

Given the brutal attack in July, Bayley vs. Lyra would be a strong undercard match for the WWE Money in the Bank PLE on Oct. 10 in New Orleans.

During Bayley's hiatus, rumors swirled surrounding her contract status and future with WWE. False Finish reported on Sept. 3 that Bayley "re-signed and will be more involved with the company and not just as an on screen talent."

A future hall of famer, Bayley's return is a major boost for Raw's women's division. After she concludes her rivalry with Lyra, it would only make sense for Bayley to be pushed into the title picture with Liv Morgan, Stephanie Vaquer and Becky Lynch.
