Iraola gives latest updates on Liverpool’s injured trio

Andoni Iraola has provided a positive update on Alexander Isak, Dominik Szoboszlai and Cody Gakpo, with all three Liverpool players edging closer to a return.

The trio remain out for Liverpool's Champions League clash with LASK , but Iraola says none of them are far away from returning, although he could not confirm when exactly they will be available.

"They are not far, but it's difficult to tell you right now," Iraola said.

"We are taking it day by day. The three of them are not far, I would say, but I don't know if they're going to be ready for Brentford, Brighton, Villarreal, I don't really know."

The trio are Liverpool's three top goalscorers this season and Iraola has called on others to step up in their absence.
